ANNAPOLIS CITY DOCK BULKHEAD REPLACEMENT

Annapolis City Dock Bulkhead Replacement

EBA performed the geotechnical engineering for the design of the bulkhead, boardwalk, and pier replacements at the City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland. The project involved the replacement of 960 linear feet of sheet pile bulkhead and boardwalk, 4 fixed piers, 10 small “finger” piers, and 5 dolphins. The project also involved rehabilitation of the asphalt paving in the parking area and replacement of the brick paving in Susan B. Campbell Park.

IMPROVEMENTS TO HERRING RUN INTERCEPTOR

Improvements to Herring Run Interceptor

EBA provided geotechnical investigation and engineering services for the proposed improvements to the Herring Run Interceptor in Baltimore, Maryland. The improvements will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 will be completed through Baltimore City Sanitary Contract 871 and Phase 2 will be completed through Baltimore City Sanitary Contract 856. The data collected from the investigation was analyzed and a geotechnical report, including recommendations for the design and construction of the proposed improvements, was prepared for each phase.

TOWSON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS

Towson University College of Liberal Arts

EBA provided the geotechnical engineering for the design and construction of the College of Liberal Arts facilities at Towson University in Towson, Maryland.  The project included the demolition of the Lida Lee Tall Building and construction of the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Building; a Central Utility Plant Addition (CUPA); utility replacements, relocations and upgrades; new/realigned roads; parking areas and a stormwater management (SWM) facility.  Other facilities in the vicinity of the SWM facility included underground utilities and a retaining wall to retain an embankment for the future re-alignment of University Avenue.
