WATER AND WASTEWATER
GIS / CAD Technicians
EBA is seeking highly motivated GIS/CAD Technicians experienced in using GIS ArcInfo 9.2 and AutoCAD 2009 for Water & Wastewater Engineering related work, including preparation of pipeline plan and profile, pumping station drawings, and treatment plant layout plans. GIS experience to include working with large shape files, populating database, updating attributes and converting shape files into CAD files. Selected applicant will work in EBA's office located in Laurel, Maryland. Excellent opportunity for growth and advancement. Two to three years of relevant working experience is required.Project Engineer Water and Wastewater
Job duties include working on state and local government projects for the design of municipal collection and distribution systems. Related responsibilities include preparing plan and profiles, yard piping, site grading, sediment and erosion control. Selected candidate must have good working knowledge of AutoCAD and skills to follow AutoCAD Standards, basic math/geometry skills, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, good communication skills, the ability to work in a group, and the ability to adapt to company policies and CAD standards. Additional skills may include hydraulic modeling and analysis capabilities, preparing cost estimates, and preparing construction documents. Requirements include:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and excellent growth potential.
- A Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred, but not required
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- A minimum of 2-5 years of engineering design experience
