Seeking a Project/Resident Engineer & Office Engineer for large interstate project. Familiarity w/SHA procedures & computer literacy desired.

Construction Inspectors
Seeking construction quality control inspectors for highway, bridge and utility/pipeline projects in the Washington-Baltimore area. Individuals must be motivated to perform in a professional manner and possess a good work ethic. ACI, HMA and MARTCP certifications or commitment to earn certifications a plus.

Technicians  
Needed at various locations to perform quality control inspection and materials testing for utilities, roads, bridges, and buildings. Experience is a plus. Will train the right candidate in testing soil, asphalt and concrete. Must have drivers license and interest in working on construction sites.

Laboratory Technicians
Needed at headquarters office to perform tests on soil, aggregates, asphalt and concrete. Experience with AASHTO or ASTM is a plus. Must have an interest in working inside a certified testing laboratory and the ability to follow specified procedures exactly.

Project Manager Water and Wastewater (two positions)
Job duties include working on state and local government projects for the design of new/rehabilitation of existing municipal collection and distribution systems and pump stations. Additional skills may include hydraulic modeling, data analysis, SSES, I/I, CSO/SSO, sewer assessments, rehabilitation/retrofit design and master planning. Treatment plant/Process experience would be helpful, but is not required. Job duties include preparing reports and studies, cost estimates, construction documents, to include construction administration services during construction; mentor entry level engineers; meeting financial performance goals on assigned projects; and managing client relations.  Requirements include:

  • A Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • A minimum of 8+ years engineering experience related to water/wastewater planning and design

Project Engineer Water and Wastewater (multiple positions)
Job duties include working on state and local government projects for the design of municipal collection and distribution systems and pump stations. Related responsibilities include preparing plan and profiles, yard piping, site grading, sediment and erosion control. Selected candidate must have basic math/geometry skills, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, good communication skills, the ability to work in a group, and the ability to adapt to company policies and CAD standards. Additional skills may include hydraulic modeling and analysis capabilities, preparing cost estimates, and construction documents.  Requirements include:

  • A Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of engineering design experience

Data Analyst (multiple positions)
Job duties include working on local government projects for area wide sewershed studies, including flow Monitoring Program and Flow Data QA Process.  We are looking for an engineer, experienced in hydraulics, flow data analysis, and database management.  Selected candidate must have basic math/geometry skills, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, good communication skills, the ability to work in a group, and the ability to adapt to company policies and standards.  Requirements include:

  • A Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Access
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Database Management
