Since 1952, EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) and its predecessor Ewell, Bomhardt, and Associates, have provided professional engineering and management services to a wide variety of satisfied clients. During this time, EBA has earned a reputation for stability and longevity and has proven its ability to handle problems of any magnitude with imagination, foresight, and sound design principles. The firm’s professional services include civil, geotechnical, water/wastewater, environmental, and transportation engineering; construction management and inspection; materials testing; drilling; and surveying and mapping.
With mulitple office locations and diversely qualified staff, EBA can accommodate multiple project commitments and offer a broad range of experience and expertise. As a progressive business, EBA is able to pass on to its clients such benefits as rapid response time, direct access to senior executives, and a daily preoccupation with the delivery of high quality products and services. EBA is a Small Business Firm, certified by the US Small Business Administration and is also certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the City of Baltimore, and local county governments.
EBA’s headquarters is located in the Seton Business Park of Baltimore, Maryland. This facility houses EBA’s soils and material testing laboratory, one of four commercial laboratories in the State of Maryland that are certified by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials AASHTO). Our other facilities include branch offices in Laurel, Maryland and Nellysford, Virginia. We also maintain a drilling office/shop in Rosedale, Maryland.
MARKETING DEPARTMENT

The EBA Marketing and Administration Department produces high quality proposals, advertising material, brochures and technical information, using both electronic and paper formats.
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

EBA maintains a comprehensive inventory of computer equipment and software as routine aids for administration, analysis, evaluation, and design. The firm continues to develop and augment its capabilities, both with new hardware and the latest software, as a means of improving productivity and to meet client requirements. Furthermore, EBA’s MIS infrastructure provides for optimum efficiency and ensures that all of its employees can take maximum advantage of the latest technology.
All EBA personnel have, at a minimum, Pentium IV workstations running Windows XP, with network access to dedicated servers for storage, backup, email, FTP, and fire-walled world wide web access.
